FAQ

Why do HAVC need a static pressure sensor?

With the growing requirements of building maintenance, HVAC systems are no longer able to meet demand operating alone. Whether it is a commercial, retail or industrial building, pressure sensors play a significant role in monitoring the building for occupants’ safety and comfort. When integrated with pressure technology, HVAC systems can operate at optimum levels as well as improve building maintenance.

Which applications of static pressure sensors?

Fandesensor static pressure sensors are suitable for applications in HVAC and building automation, clean rooms, hospitals, laboratories, isolation chambers or in the pharmaceutical industry. The highly accurate devices can be employed for all non-flammable and non-aggressive gases. The piezo-resistive pressure sensing element stands out by excellent long-term stability, measures even minimal pressure differences and excludes the risk of cross-contamination.

What is Differential Pressure?

The term “differential pressure” refers to the pressure between two places. Different industries use differential pressure sensors to measure this unique type of pressure. As a application, static pressure sensors are designed to monitor pressure in industrial settings. When measuring and maintaining proper negative or positive pressure, it allows the ventilation system or process airflow system to operate more efficiently and effectively.
