How to Choose the Optimum Pressure Range?
To avoid affecting the accuracy, selecting a larger measurement range, generally, the actual maximum pressure is at 2/3 of the range. For example, If the actual pressure of medium is 0-10MPa, the optimum pressure is 0-16MPa.
What is digital pressure gauge stability?
Long-term stability is quantified by the sensor average drift at a given pressure, temperature and time( 1 year). Certainly, for a good pressure sensor to be considered stable, it should maintain a very low drift in its measurements overa relatively long period of time.
What is the difference between ceramic and diffused silicon piezoresistive sensor?
Because of the poor sealing and overload performance, generally, the ceramic piezoresistive sensor is used in low-cost pressure instruments. Diffused silicon piezoresistive sensor has excellent sealing performance, overload capability and stability, so it is used in high-price pressure instruments. However, this is not say the ceramic piezoresistive sensor is not good, basically, it is based on your application.
