Q1: Why doesn’t my digital pressure gauge display 0.1, 0.01, or 0.001?
A: This is due to the display digit limit of the gauge. Refer to the pressure range and resolution table to select the appropriate range.
For example, the DR3730 has a 4-digit display. If the selected range exceeds 4 digits, it won’t display 0.1, 0.01, or 0.001. For instance, selecting 100MPa (1000bar) won’t show 1000.0, even if the measured pressure is 1MPa (10.1bar won’t display). Choosing 70MPa (700bar) allows 0.1 display. For 1000.0bar, consider DR3710 (4-1/2 digits), DR-S200 (5 digits), or DR-S210 (5 digits).
Q2: Why doesn’t my digital pressure gauge show units like bar PSI or kPa?
A: This is also due to the display digit limit. If the unit exceeds the display digits, the gauge won’t show the unit. Refer to the pressure range and unit display table to select the correct range.
For example, the DR3730 has a 4-digit display. Selecting 100MPa (100000kPa, 6 digits) won’t show kPa, even if the measured pressure is 10kPa.
